Hey guys!

Today (June 1st 2024) I managed to splurge more money (yet again) at Airsoft Extreme. *Totally not sponsored by them BTW. I bought all the parts with my money so....yeah lets get on with what we have on the agenda today.

 I picked up this slide for $130 (It was on sale because memorial day) bare bones, no outer barrel included. The attention to detail, minus the few scratches on the brushed silver part of the slide, makes this Hi-Capa a very attractive looking piece to look at. I think the black and the silver of the slide compliment the silver barrel, guide rod, plug and the rest of the black lower frame pieces. I had the luxury of having it installed at the shop by a certified expert at  AEX (figmamadness) so kudos to him for the help. Originally I had purple edge trigger to go with the former slide because I had intended to make a weebcapa build initially, but I never committed to finishing it. But getting off topic, I did have some issues in terms of fitment at first. 

Minor Issues:

NONE whatsoever lol

Lets move onto the other parts I bought.  

CowCow Type 2 Trigger

I never really got the concept for these things tbh. I never could tell the difference between the feel of a stock vs aftermarket trigger but another reason for buying this, couldn't find my original black plastic Marui trigger. So it will do. I think the tapered part of the trigger makes for a more comfortable feel when wrapping your finger around. Never thought you could make a 1911/2011 feel this nice to hold.

Guarder 150% Recoil Spring

Now don't get me wrong here, I don't really like upgraded springs because I thought the stock Marui spring was just as sufficient for my usual applications. I don't do competitive shooting or strive for more kick when I always felt the stock spring in any TM would always be beneficial in terms of efficiency.
